Go anywhere anytime with a Stacer 549 Wave Runner
Product News
The Stacer 549 Wave Runner is a great boat for people who don’t have the opportunity to wait for good conditions; it will go anywhere any time. The Stacer 549 Wave Runner is a great boat for people who don’t have the opportunity to wait for good conditions; it will go anywhere any time. One of the best features on Stacer cabin boats is the unique ‘walk-thru’ hatch. National Account Manager Drew Jackson says with this open lay out you don’t have to bend, curve and climb to make your way to the front of the boat, you can walk straight through. “It is a very versatile boat, an ideal size for a family, take them out fishing, skiing or for a cruise to a camping hideaway,” Mr Jackson said.
The cabin provides shelter for your family, featuring a bimini and front clears as standard to keep you dry and out of the weather. Children are able to sleep in comfort on the cushioned bunks inside the cabin, and adding an optional bunk infill cushion will allow you to pull up on any island beach for a camp.
Enjoy a beautiful day offshore fishing when you option up with a live bait tank, a ski pole/ cutting board and a rocket launcher and stay out longer with your 118 litre fuel tank. Explore your waterways under the comfortable ride of the 549 Wave Runner’s efficient EVO SII Hull keeping your boat stable and buoyant as it cuts through the water and planes faster.
The Wave Runner’s large Mod Pod transom and gives you the ability to easily jump in and out of the boat, thus swimming, skiing, and diving or just dangling your feet in the water is a breeze.
The 549 Wave Runner holds six people with level floatation and with the Mod Pod Transom, this versatile boat can support the weight of a four stroke outboard motor.
Perfect for first time boaters…Stacer’s entry level runabouts
Product News
For those looking at getting into boating for the first time look no further than Stacer’s value packed, easy to handle entry level runabouts. Stacer’s entry level runabout range encompasses the 429 Seahawk, 449 Seahawk, 469 Seahawk and 429 Seaway. National Sales and Marketing Manager Damien Duncan said the entry level runabout range is very economical to both purchase and operate. “Stacer’s entry level runabouts are versatile boats built to suit the first time boat buyer,” Damien said.“Packaged ‘Ready 2 Go’ with 30 to 50 horsepower outboards and a Stacer trailer, all four models are suitable for rivers, creeks, estuaries, board waters and open bays. “They are also easy to launch and retrieve, as a result of their light weight and can be towed behind the family car,” he said.
Starting with the smallest models in the range, the 429 Seahawk and 429 Seaway are ideal first family boats, catering for up to four passengers and built on 2mm bottom sides and 1.6mm top sides.
Meanwhile the 449 Seahawk and 469 Seahawk cater for four and five passengers respectively and boast Stacer’s deep ‘V’ Evo Series hull design for a smooth ride and exceptional stability.
All models come with a long list of standard features including bench seat flotation, canopy, carpeted floor, rear bench seat, bow handles, transom handles, transducer bracket, three piece windscreen and windscreen grab rail.
For boaters wanting to add some extras to their runabout, optional features vary across the models and include Navman Fish 4431 DST Sounder, VHF Radio, compass, side curtains, storm cover and travel cover to name a few.
All models are packaged ‘Ready 2 Go’ with a Mariner outboard engine, Stacer trailer, safety equipment and boat and trailer registrations.
Suzuki Releases New Lightweight 60HP Four Stroke
Product News
Suzuki’s second generation DF60 has proven that less can be more when it comes to advanced 4-stroke outboard performance. This streamlined new 60 horsepower 4-stroke designed to be smaller, lighter and more efficient than other 4-strokes in its class will still pack a solid punch and will be an ideal fit for a wide variety of boats.
“Our engineers are constantly exploring new technologies to discover ways that we can make our outboards even better,” says Greg Haines, Managing Director sales and marketing for Suzuki Marine.
“Suzuki’s new generation 4-stroke outboards — the DF70, DF80, DF90 and now the DF60 aren’t only better than the competition, but leaner, meaner and stronger than our first generation 4-strokes.”
Fuel efficiency is further enhanced by Suzuki’s new Lean Burn Technology, a feature that predicts fuel needs according to operating conditions and allows the engine to operate on a very lean air/fuel ratio. The new Suzuki DF60 is expected to provide the perfect balance of efficient operation and top-end performance on a wide range of hull sizes and styles.
The new DF60 will be released for the first time at the Sanctuary Cove International boat show 21-24 May and available spring 2009.
Suzuki 100 Years of Innovation - 1909 to 2009
Gereral News
The Suzuki history began in October 1909, when the founder Michio Suzuki started his company. In the commemorative year of 2009 we celebrate the 100th year of his first ever step in business.Suzuki wasn't always the Motor Corporation. In 1909, Michio Suzuki founded the Suzuki Loom Company in the small seacoast village of Hamamatsu, Japan. Business boomed as Suzuki built weaving looms for Japan's giant silk industry. Suzuki's only desire was to build better, more user-friendly looms. For the first 30 years of the company's existence, its focus was on the development and production of these exceptionally complex machines.
Despite the success of his looms, Suzuki realized his company had to diversify and he began to look at other products. Based on consumer demand, he decided that building a small car would be the most practical new venture. The project began in 1937, and within two years Suzuki had completed several compact prototype cars. These first Suzuki motor vehicles were powered by a then-innovative, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, four-cylinder engine. It featured a cast aluminum crankcase and gearbox and generated 13 horsepower from a displacement of less than 800cc.
What was once a small group of dedicated engineers, designing the world's finest weaving machinery, has today grown into a worldwide company of almost 15,000 people, who create and distribute products in more than 190 nations. Worldwide, Suzuki sells nearly 1.8 million vehicles a year, surpassing the sales of such renowned marques as BMW, Mercedes and Saab. Suzuki motorcycles are the first choice of more than 2 million riders every year. And sales of Suzuki outboards continue to be the power of choice for boat owners worldwide.
Looking to the future, on two wheels, four wheels, and on the water, Suzuki will continue its tradition of technological trailblazing, and appealing to customers who demand unique design, value, reliability and superior engineering.
